I thought this was interesting and actually did not know this about pregnancy. The site Amazing Facts and News- Pregnancy Fact, shares that when a woman is pregnant, her senses are heightened. No wonder smells become more pungent while pregnant and temperatures can feel more hot or cold.
But this got me thinking, women carrying multiples must be practically super-human when it comes to their sense-levels while carrying their babies. It must be like sensory-overload from all those hormones and babies inside them. (Of course I know this is not the case but it is such a fun visual to roll around in my head). Super-eye site, super-hearing, super-smell, super-taste, super-touch.
