We know that the birth of multiples is on the rise in the world.  We also know that more woman are successfully carrying more than just 2 or 3 babies, alive and well, to the end of their pregnancy.  Women these days, with all the different medical interventions and multi-birth options, successfully give birth to as many as 8 babies at a time.  This births are still very rare occurrence but they are happening.  So if you're wondering what you should call a particular number of babies, here is a handy chart with those names:
Sextuplets
one baby - singleton
two babies - twins
three babies - triplets
four babies - quadruplets or quads
five babies - quintuplets or quints
six babies - sextuplets
seven babies - septuplets
eight babies - octuplets
