365 Days of Twinipedia - Day 88

Day Eighty-eight of Twinipedia:

Fact #88
On Jan. 4, 1915, the Keys quadruplets were born in Hollis, Oklahoma.  These quads became the first all-female set to survive infancy and live into adulthood.

As Infants
The four girls were named Roberta, Mona, Mary and Leota.  The names were chosen to honor some of the women that were present during their delivery
The quads weighed 16 pounds total, each weighing, amazingly, around four pounds each.
As Young Girls
We found a wonderful article about these record breaking sisters.  Hope you get a chance to read it.  Enjoy!
